What is Geocaching?
Geocaching.com defines this as “a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.” Basically, it is a GPS based scavenger hunt where we use a billion dollar satellite system to track down tupperware hidden in the woods!
To us, geocaching is adventure. Geocaching is a fun, family hobby that spans the world for us. With literally millions of geocaches hidden, we been led to high mountain peaks, spanning bridges, deep caves and lamp posts all over the planet. While not every cache leads us somewhere new and exciting, each find has its own special story to tell.
So follow along with us as we bring you some of our favorite finds, containers and great adventures.
